Place the machine on a flat surface with the lower side facing you. Place the leaf, stem side down, centered on the belt at the bottom of the machine. Make sure the leaf sits firmly at the bottom of the machine with your finger, and that any excess parts of the leaf do not fold over, but rather lie against the side walls of the machine. Place filling at the bottom of the leaf, according to the desired thickness of the wrap. Use 1.5 spoons of filling for thick wraps, 1 spoon for medium wraps, and ½ spoon for thin wraps. You can find the exact amount by experimenting. Finally, push the lever forward. The wraps will drop out ready from the end of the machine. Before placing a new leaf, gently press the bottom of the belt with your finger to ensure it is taut.
